Energy Efficient Ventilation for Modern Dwellings

Engineered to provide energy efficient ventilation, the AVHRU1, by Addvent, is best suited for modern dwellings where high insulation, draught exclusion or other construction techniques have reduced natural ventilation.

The AVHRU1 unit is designed to continuously ventilate a room with fresh, warmed air which is essential to health and well being in the home or any other building; whether an office, factory, classroom, or hospital.

Modern dwellings which are insulated to comply with Building Regulations prevent the leakage of air in and out of the building, however unless there is effective ventilation within the building, the air breath can be contaminated. This time of year it is not uncommon for people to suffer from or develop allergies caused by dust mites, pets, cigarette smoke or even air pollutants.

Not only will the Addvent Heat Recovery Unit provide a healthier environment in which to live. Almost 80% of the heat from the extracted air is recovered and passed over to the new fresh air coming into the room via an Aluminium heat exchanger, exceeding the efficiency of plastic units.

The unit is controlled by a remote humidistat so that it will switch into boost mode when the set levels are exceeded; it can also be linked to a photoelectric cell so that it can be used in bedrooms during the night.

The unit is quiet when in operation (<25dB (A) on trickle mode and 45 dB (A) on boost mode) and more importantly is easy and safe to install.

The unit can be fitted from within the building so there is no need for external access, which is beneficial for high rise applications.
